Our wedding music website is seeing some nice increases in traffic, and sales are improving. One of the areas we’ve been focusing on is Wedding Music Samples – a free resource for wedding planners, brides, and grooms. If you google “wedding music samples” you should see we occupy 2 of the top 4 spots – one with the samples album that lives on our website, and the other a very similar album on Bandcamp, our online music provider.
Storybook Love (Princess Bride Theme) is our top selling song, and is the first track on the samples album.
You And Me, originally by Lifehouse is probably our top selling piano solo, though
Only Hope (Mandy Moore, Switchfoot) is very close to the top as well.
Wedding March Remix! Mendelssohn is our top selling recessional, and a lot of fun – upbeat but not too deeply stylized.
Rounding out the top 5 songs is a
I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You, a passionate violin solo with a backdrop of piano and orchestra.
Just a reminder – these are short samples of each wedding song; you’ll need to click on the link to hear them in their entirety. But again, the purpose of these samples it to help couples make wedding music decisions – it only takes about 15 minutes to listen to most of the song snippets, and who knows – that might be all the time it takes to choose the musical backdrop for your special day. If you want to listen later, it’s easy to navigate back to either samples album, and as with all our music, you can listen to any song in it’s entirety for free.
Musicians -Bandcamp is a great site for independent musicians and bands – they provide great options for selling and keeping in touch with your audience, and you can flow link juice back to your own website.
They have a Page Rank of 7 (very strong), and their Alexa ranking (of all websites world wide) has moved from about 2550 to 2170 in the 2+ years we have been using their service. No, I’m not a rep for Bandcamp….but I’m sold on what they’re providing.
